Kangaroo island wildlife discovery

Upon arriving on Kangaroo Island we travel through differing island habitats to see wildlife in their natural environment, without the threat of introduced predators. At spectacular Seal Bay a local guide will join us to observe the endangered Australian sea-lions, while we enjoy a memorable walk along the beach amongst these wonderful creatures. During the day, observe koalas and native Australian birds which abound in their natural habitat on an exclusive bush property. Savour a delicious gourmet-style lunch in a relaxed and secluded bush setting. This afternoon, on the north coast of the island, we enjoy beautiful panoramas of beaches, while enjoying a bushwalk. Later, be sure to keep an eye out for the ‘Kangaroo Island’ kangaroo, Tammar wallabies and other native species with our experienced Driver/Guide, who is a local of Kangaroo Island and has a close affinity to the island and its environment. On the day, our Driver/Guide will tailor our activities to suit the weather conditions, animal behaviour and the interests of the small group.

The River Murray Highlights tour departs Adelaide and travels to the mighty Murray River. On your arrival into Mannum (Monday tour) or Woodlane (Friday tour) you will board the MV Murray Expedition to begin your cruise along the Murray River. The Murray River, Australia’s longest river system is home to abundant wildlife and birdlife, with spectacular scenery displays throughout the day. The Captain will provide an informative commentary offering an interpretive insight into the river and its towns. Morning tea is provided aboard the MV Murray Expedition.
